Croakheads is a UK‑based DJ collective built on community, creativity and a shared love for grassroots music. What started as a small group of friends running a Soundcloud, turned into themed nights and grew into a movement dedicated to supporting the independent venues and local artists that keep the scene alive.

We champion emerging talent, platform local DJs and collaborate with collectives across the country to create events that feel welcoming, energetic and intentionally chaotic (in the best, fun way). Every Croakheads night is shaped by the people in the room: residents, guests, newcomers and the wider community that surrounds us.

At the heart of what we do is our commitment to protecting the spaces that make grassroots music possible. We work closely with Music Venue Trust, donating proceeds from our events and running our 100% to MVT stall to raise money and awareness for the UK’s ongoing grassroots venue crisis. Croakheads exists to celebrate them.

We uplift local talent. Bring people together. Make noise and advocate for the venues that shaped us. And aim to keep the spirit of grassroots music thriving for the next generation.
