> grassroots music financial support_

A free, publicly sourced guide to grants, bursaries, funding opportunities, lifelines and financial resources for UK grassroots music. Across all genres, from independent club nights and promoters to venues, collectives, artists and community projects. 💜

🐸Start hereHow to use this directory
Choose a type of support and UK nation, or search for terms like DJ fees, youth, touring, equipment or venue. Open any folder to explore the schemes and visit each funder’s official website. These listings are starting points, not recommendations or guarantees of eligibility.
💷What can be funded?Look beyond event tickets
Different programmes may fund artist and DJ fees, venue hire, production, access costs, promotion, youth music, equipment, touring, organisational development or community programmes. Not every fund supports commercial club nights. Read the funder's full eligibility, permitted costs and application rules.
🗓️Funding statusDeadlines can change
Statuses are research snapshots and not live application confirmations. “Rolling” means a scheme usually accepts applications continuously, subject to available budget. “Open round / check deadline” means a round was identified at its last manual verification, but could close. “Upcoming” and “Closed / future rounds” are displayed deliberately so useful schemes are not lost between funding rounds. All statuses require a fresh check with the funder.
💜Who is included?Every genre, different eligibility
The directory is for the whole grassroots music community. Some individual programmes target specific nations, ages, communities or career stages. Listing a targeted fund does not mean the directory itself is limited to those applicants. Community funds generally require clear public benefit and eligible organisational structures.
🛡️TransparencyPublic sources only
Every listing links to a publicly accessible official funder or programme page. This directory does not reproduce private application materials, claim affiliation with funders or collect applicants' financial details. See the Croakheads Privacy Policy.

✅Before applyingA quick checklist
Check your nation, applicant type, deadline, minimum lead time, project start date, permitted costs, match funding, payment schedule, and whether you need a constituted group or bank account. Avoid committing spending before the funder permits it.

Open a folder to browse financial support opportunities. Funders may change conditions or pause applications without warning.
